The town of Thonon-les-Bains is located on the southern shore of Lake Geneva (58 km², 309 meters maximum depth). Sub-prefecture of Haute-Savoie (Bas Chablais) at the foot of the Alpine peaks, populated by nearly 30,000 inhabitants, Thonon-les-Bains is a spa town and a famous seaside resort.

  Accessibility of the CARRTEL Unit :

  •  By Road: 30 km from Geneva, 580 km from Paris (A6 - about 38 euros toll) and 35 km from the motorway Lyon / Annecy / Chamonix. See the access plan.
  •  By Train: daily connections between Thonon and Bellegarde (TGV departing from Paris - approximately 5 hours from Paris) or Lyon (2 hours 30 on average). For a trip between Thonon and Bellegarde (about 1 hour and 15 minutes), it will cost about 10 euros 50. Until Lyon, the trip will cost you 25 euros and to Paris, it takes about 61 euros.   • By Plane: regular connections to Geneva (35 km) and Lyon (180 km) airports.
